RE:  Your Congressional  Testimony, on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, before a House Homeland Security   Subcommittee 

Dear Mr. Weitzman, 

During your November 6th testimony you misidentified as alleged "Incubator[s] of 9/11 Conpiracies and Disinformation" Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth [and others dedicated to investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our country], wrongly conflating these patriotic professional groups with groups promoting terrorist violence.   In fact, these 9/11 truth groups raise important unanswered questions, which demand serious consideration and adequate answers, not yet provided by our government. 

Because your erroneous and defamatory testimony was was aired by CSpan, it was widely publicized. 

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has had a long and distinguished record of diligence and perseverance in pursuit of truth.  But your failure honestly to investigate these 9/11 truth groups and their legitimate issues betrays and tarnishes that honorable history.  Moreover  your dishonest disparagement of 9/11 truth investigators seriously impeaches the credibility of the Wiesenthal Center’s ongoing activities.    

 As observed by Albert Einstein: 

 "Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance". 

Accordingly, I respectfully request that you diligently investigate relevant 9/11 issues, retract your defamatory remarks, and correct for the record your testimony insofar as it misidentifies as purported Internet disseminators of disinformation and extremism, many legitimate professional investigators, including Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.
