9/11 Political Prisoner Mike Cook has finally been freed. (Just google "Mike Cook MUJCA" for earlier stories explaining his situation.)
Cause for celebration! This Ramadan-fastin' Irish Muslim will be seekin' out a small sample of alcohol-free Guinness to raise a nocturnal toast to Mike's long, brave struggle for freedom.

I just spoke with Mike Cook and late this afternoon he was released from
jail. He had a bond hearing earlier today at 1:30 pm. The U.S. Government
has until Oct. 1 to possibly appeal his release and this entire situation
has to be approved by the original Judge Bertlesman but it looks very
positive. Mike called from his cellphone while driving his car, smoking a
cigarette and drinking a 'near beer' on the way to his relative's farm in Ky
where he plans to spend a few days to relax and unwind. Let's hope Mike's
ordeal has come to a happy ending.
