May Re-Enter “Reality” Soon Mike Cook has been locked up in federal medical facilities for almost a year. His crime? Believing that 9/11 was an inside job, and suggesting that Bush may one day be executed for treason. See: http://www.mujca.com/secretservice.htm http://www.mujca.com/mikecook.htm http://www.mujca.com/cookhearing.htm In late August Mike was officially judged “not dangerous” by a committee of psychologists. Theoretically that should get him released ASAP. But as Mike put it in a letter last May, “MANY things that should not have happened Have happened and I rather expect that trend to continue.” His recent transfer from North Carolina to Kentucky suggests that it may not. Let us hope that the authorities decide to follow their own rules and release Mike, along with the profuse apologies due to a perfectly sane and harmless man incarcerated for thoughtcrime and truthspeak. His release would be cause for celebration, though the society to which he will return, God willing, remains a madhouse. --Kevin Barrett
Update from Karl: Mike called and spoke to my wife earlier and he is at the Fayette County Jail in Lexington, Ky. He arrived there this afternoon. No word yet as to when/if he will be released. I just called the Lexington Division of Community Corrections Center and spoke to a man who verified that he is there now. He is still in the Intake Unit and hasn't been moved to the Housing Unit yet. I don't think he can take phone calls until he is officially in the Housing Unit. Here's the address. (If you write him remember to include his prisoner ID number). Lexington Division of Community Corrections 600 Old Frankfort Circle Lexington, Kentucky 40510 (859) 425-2700 Karl
