In this regard, I agree with you.  America is currently involved in, and supporting a Holocaust against Muslims.  In regards to Israel using the Holocaust to obtain a blank check, I agree with you.  In regards to the Nazis not doing what we were told [they did], I wholeheartedly disagree. 

I disagree too! I never said they didn't. Don't mistake my attempts to piss off that asshole Mark Robinowitz for considered opinions ; ) Nor "myth" (sacred narrative) for "lie."

Remember, I'm the guy who compared Bush to Hitler--that wasn't meant as a compliment! Though I'm not an expert, I think the Nazis did pretty much what they're said to have done. And I think Eric's decision to write a Holocaust-revision book and publish it on the eve of the 9/11 Accountability Conference is beyond bizarre, and suggests poor judgment to say the least.

Take my word for it Kevin, they did everything we were told.  I've met family members with numbers burned into their arms, and have heard the experiences first hand.  I don't understand the mindset of people trying to uncover whether or not the Nazis did as we were told.  Weren't as bad as we were told. 

I never used to understand it either...still don't in some cases...but after studying African Literature and Arabic for ten years, and hanging around with people from other parts of the world, I have a different perspective now than I did ten or fifteen years ago.

The high school history textbook story makes WWII out to be a simple good-guys-vs.-bad-guys fight. There are some good things about telling it that way. It discredits eugenics, racism, genocide, and aggressive war, by associating these things with the evil Nazis. And it makes us feel good about ourselves and our parents--they were the "greatest generation" who sacrificed to defeat this evil scourge.

But there's a downside to this black versus white, good versus evil story. First, it makes it seem as if eugenics, racism, genocide, and aggressive war are a Nazi peculiarity. In fact, the USA stands on land cleared by a genocide of not six million, but over sixty million. Eugenics was invented and developed in the USA, and only borrowed by Hitler. (The first victims of eugenics laws were multi-racial syncretic Muslims in Indiana, the Tribe of Ishmael.) The USA is as racist a country as has ever existed, with the possible exceptions of Nazi Germany, Israel and South Africa. Some estimates put the number of Africans killed in the Euro-American slave trade at over 100 million (while others say less than 15 million yet are never shunned as "holocaust deniers.") And the US has been waging nonstop wars of aggression since the Mexican war of 1847. According to William Blum's Killing Hope, many millions have been killed in an "American holocaust" of CIA interventions and wars of aggression since WWII.

The high school textbook version also ignores the fact that it was the Russians, not the Americans, who beat the Nazis. The US got into the war late, and only won the relatively small battles on the western front while the Russians won the huge ones on the more important eastern front. The US made no effort to bomb the rail lines to the camps or otherwise disrupt the Holocaust. The American leadership entered the war not to defeat the Nazis, but to build a global empire on the smoking ruins left by the war. Truman nuked Japan, twice, not to defeat Japan--they were already defeated and ready to accept unfavorable terms--but to send a warning to the Russians. The people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki paid a very high price for that little geostrategic maneuver.

So let's look at the American high school textbook story about the heroic Americans versus the evil Nazis from the point of view of the Arabs. They see all of the hypocrisy I just described. They count themselves among the victims of the biggest episode of aggressive war and genocide in human history, the European expansion, during which European countries, led by England, conquered almost the entire world and slaughtered a good proportion of its inhabitants. Almost every temperate zone on earth saw its people exterminated, replaced by genocidal European conquerers. The Arab countries (and much of the Islamic world) were almost all taken over by England and France in horrific wars of aggression. Some describe the Muslim population reduction caused by European wars of aggression, during which the population of earth fell from one-third Muslim to less than one-sixth, as a genocide of over 100 million people. (You are welcome to dispute that figure--nobody will kidnap you and whisk you off to a prison in Saudi Arabia.)

So is it surprising that Arabs and Muslims, brutally subjugated mainly by the English and the French, whose genocides dwarf those of the Nazis, have every reason to say "my enemy's enemy is my friend" and slightly prefer the Germans, while more importantly lumping all the Europeans together as genocidal types, rather than distinguishing one genocidal nationality from another?

Is it surprising that Arabs and Muslims suspect that one genocidal group, the Allies, exaggerated the evil of another genocidal group, the Axis powers when they, the Allies, the victors, wrote the history books? Is it surprising that Arabs and Muslims ask, "If the Axis had won the war, wouldn't it be Hiroshima, not Auschwitz, that would be held up as the epitome of human evil?"

Is it surprising that when Arabs and Muslims learn that the official death count at Auschwitz has been reduced by three million, and yet the overall Holocaust total is left at the original six million (thanks to exactly three million newly discovered killings on the eastern front) they suspect that six million has become a sacred number, not a dispassionately discovered statistic? Is it surprising that when Arabs and Muslims see that you can question the details, including the number of victims, of any of the dozens of other genocides without anyone batting an eyelash, but you may be kidnapped, spirited out of the country and jailed if you dissent from the magic six million figure, they suspect that the Holocaust story must be a sacred myth, not a dispassionate and disputable historical account?

Above all, when they see that the Holocaust story has been used to justify the genocide of the Palestinians, the theft of the world's most sacred site, and the threatened destruction of Islam's greatest architectural monument, the al-Aqsa mosque, by lunatics who are yearning for Jesus to destroy earth with nuclear weapons...is it surprising when they conclude that they are dealing with pathological liars and genocidal maniacs, whose Holocaust story must be a lie too?

As for me, I have no use for the Nazis. I see them as an extreme example of the genocidal racism of the European expansion. But I am offended that everyone focuses on the six million Jewish Holocaust victims--who were killed because they were viewed as dark-skinned "Semitic" non-Europeans, and who are now mourned because they are now viewed as lilly-white Europeans--while ignoring the hundreds of millions of other victims of the genocidal European expansion. I am offended that Israel and the Zionist-dominated American media mourns every lost "white" Jewish life in Israel but pays no attention to the wanton slaughter of "nonwhite" Palestinians, including the intentional IDF sniper-murders of more than 600 harmless children, shot for sport in school playgrounds etc., documented by the British Medical Journal and Chris Hedges in Harpers magazine?

I think we need to take the Holocaust story out of the sacred myth category, and put it back in secular history along with the dozens of other genocides. Above all, we need to admit that the Holocaust was not perpetrated by Palestinians, put an end to Zionism, institute right of return, and make Israel-Palestine a state for all its people regardless of religion or ethnicity. Once that happens, the world's Muslims will quickly lose their interest in Holocaust revisionism. Until then, anyone who scolds them for lionizing "martyrs" like Irving and Zundel is a fool and a hypocrite.

People want to incorporate the Holocaust into the movement?  Ok, let's compare the Reichstag fire ultimately giving Hitler the ability to perform the Holocaust to 9/11 ultimately giving Bush the ability to murder 655,000 Muslims living in Iraq, etc...

Right on! That's unfortunately a pretty accurate historical parallel. Hitler was the master of false-flag attacks--google Operation Himmler. I always summarize the neocon philosophy as
"if you can't beat Hitler, join him."
 
I do not believe Eric William's, Eric Hufschmid's, Christopher Bollyn's, etc... "work" should be apart of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Well, I don't like racism or bigotry of any kind. I kicked Kaminski off my show for bad-mouthing Jews, and would do the same for anyone else. But that doesn't mean that nothing Kaminski writes has any value, any more than Rabbi Lerner's pride that his son fought with the IDF (to a Muslim, that's like being proud your son was in the SS) invalidates his good work. America's greatest humorist, H.L. Mencken, was an anti-Semite, as were TS Eliot and Ezra Pound, while almost all white Americans in the 19th century, and most in the 20th, were racists. For that matter, lots of wonderful, accomplished Jews have been prejudiced against goys. Lots of people have unfortunate prejudices and loonie ideas about one topic, while having something valuable to say about another topic. Exactly when someone's bigotry crosses the line to the point that you have to shun them entirely is a judgment call. I don't know enough about any of these three guys to be sure--though Williams' book sounds pretty dubious, and Hufschmid's remarks about Jews on one occasion were way over the top. But Hufschmid did do a great book and an excellent video, and Bollyn seems to have done some good journalism. I say let's try to speak the truth fearlessly, blast any bigots when they express their bigotry, but celebrate good work even when it's done by bigoted people. Heck, if I had to shun every anti-Arab, anti-Muslim bigot, there'd be hardly anybody in this country left to talk to. I'd have to cancel all my mainstream media interviews--and where would I be without Hannity and O'Reilly ; )
