MUJCA Calls for Wellstone Investigation

As the ninth anniversary of the death of Senator Paul Wellstone approaches, an interfaith alliance of Muslims, Jews and Christians is calling for an investigation of the Senator's apparent murder, and the FBI coverup that followed. (Senator Wellstone's death occurred on October 25th, 2002.) 

Peymon Mottahedeh, the Jewish coordinator of the interfaith group MUJCA (http://www.MUJCA.com ) says that as a conservative, he didn't always agree with the Senator's positions, but that Wellstone's integrity impressed him. "I think he was killed because he was one of those honest liberals, like Dennis Kuchinich," Mottahedeh said. "He wanted to investigate 9/11, and he was going to stop the Iraq war before it started. So they killed him." Citing whistleblowers including former CIA assassin Chip Tatum and former FBI agent Ted Gunderson as sources, Mottahedeh said he believes a New World Order of ultra-wealthy financiers runs an assassination bureau that targets such potentially dangerous figures as Wellstone. (Tatum's and Gunderson's charges are supported by the testimony of other key whistleblowers, including "economic hit man" John Perkins.) 

Kevin Barrett, the Muslim co-founder of MUJCA, challenged Jewish groups including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to join MUJCA's call to re-open the Wellstone case. "Senator Paul Wellstone, a Jewish American, was the greatest statesman of our time. We suspect he was murdered by neo-nazis -- people who derive their political philosophy from leading Nazi thinker Carl Schmidt and his disciple Leo Strauss. In other words, the greatest Jewish political leader of our time was apparently murdered by neo-nazis. We should all stand up together and demand truth and justice." 

Many high-level political leaders, including Senator Barbara Boxer, have privately stated that they know the Wellstone plane crash was an assassination. Senator Boxer told one of her aides, a close friend of Wellstone assassination scholar Four Arrows: "You can go and tell your friend Four Arrows just how right he is. What happened to Paul Wellstone was a message to us all."
