The Muslim
Jewish Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth—with
much gratitude and thanks to the MUJCA Steering Committee
for the heart-felt initiative and ground work in making it all happen—has
begun a list of Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth at
http://www.mujca.com as it encourages and
emphasizes our inclusiveness of all faiths for the call for the new 9/11
Truth investigation. Just as other groups of technical and academic professionals have concerns about the events of 9/11 from their perspectives (see across), religious persons have reason to be concerned about the official 9/11 story which has been shown to be fraudulent. Because this false story has been used to wage wars, inflict torture, create a climate of fear in the world, and discriminate against Muslims, religious people have a responsibility to demand the truth, based on our values and traditions of seeking peace through justice. We hope this list will help to create a critical mass of religious and spiritual persons who will increase the support for a new, thorough, transparent and credible investigation.

The following are individual statements and endorsements which do not necessarily represent the whole religious affiliation without further consideration. Mahmoud Ayoub Faculty associate professor of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at the Hartford Seminary, Hartford Connecticut, Professor Emeritus at Temple University John B. Cobb, Jr. PhD, Professor Emeritus of Theology, Claremont School of Theology, Claremont, California. David Ray Griffin PhD, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy of Religion and Theology, Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, California. Reverend Rich Lang Trinity United Methodist Church, Seattle, Washington. Davidson Loehr First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin, Texas John Milbank PhD, Professor in Religion, Politics and Ethics, University of Nottingham, England Father Frank Morales St. Mark's Episcopal Church, New York City, New York Jorge (George) Pixley Professor of Bible with Ph.D. from the Univ. of Chicago Divinity School (1968), retired Baptist minister. Professional life was in Latin America, including Puerto Rico (12 years), Mexico (ten years), Argentina (one year) and Nicaragua (16 years). Father Benjamin J. Urmston, S. J. PhD Peace Studies, Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of my religious order, felt all of us need spiritual freedom, to really listen to God, to others, to ourselves, to be honest with ourselves. St. Ignatius thought secrecy and deceit did not come from the Holy Spirit. We should not make any decisions from inordinate affections such as excessive fear. I think genuine religion can help in 9/11/01 truth or in coming to any truth. I think all of us together should create a positive vision for Ourselves . One of my five pillars of a positive vision is the abolition of the war system, replacing it with a democratic world federation. Besides being dangerous, expensive, unnecessary, violent , harmful to the environment, a waste of precious resources, deceit and secrecy is an integral part of the war system and are abused in a search for security (and perhaps in a search for American Empire.) The fact that there has been a cover-up and silence about 9/11/01 obvious to many experts from many different disciplines is a sign that there should be a completely new and independent investigation. What is more important to us than the truth about 9/11/01 and the so-called war on terror? Audrey W. Vincent, Minister Emerita, Unitarian Universalist Church of Savannah
M. Div., D. Min., Claremont School of Theology, 1986 (Attended
College of Divinity, Univ. of Aberdeen and served as an intern Minister at
the Unitarian Church in Edinburgh.)
